Amazing and Big Bertha are two regal, Harlequin Great Dane sisters—“designer dogs” who found themselves at the dreaded Devore Shelter, a high-intake, high-kill facility notorious for putting dogs down simply due to lack of space. In fact, these gentle giants were just 30 minutes away from losing their lives for no other reason than being “too big.” Thankfully, they were rescued in the nick of time, and you’d never guess they endured such a close call.

These inseparable sisters share a bond that’s truly something special. Their days revolve around snuggling on the couch (their favorite pastime!) and stretching their long legs outside in short bursts of playful energy.

Amazingly well-adjusted, they’ve lived alongside other dogs, cats, and even birds without so much as a hiccup—no behavioral issues whatsoever! Smart, loving, and eager to please, Amazing and Big Bertha are searching for a forever home where they can lounge happily indoors, enjoy a bit of outdoor fun, and receive all the cuddles they so deserve. If you’re looking to welcome a pair of gentle souls who will fill your home with love (and maybe just a little extra legroom), these two sisters are ready to steal your heart. NOTES:
